Rockview Guesthouse is situated at No. 13, Queens Road, Paignton. This central location means an easy level walk to the Paignton shopping centre, the Paignton pier on the sea front, and the picturesque Paignton Harbour.

Your hosts are Lesley and Roger Hill assisted by their West Highland white terrier, Archie. You are always assured of a warm family welcome together with home cooked food. We are very much of the "come as visitors and leave as friends" type of establishment.

After 29 years with a multi national company, Roger elected for voluntary redundancy to pursue his ambition to "run" a guesthouse, which he has now achieved.

Prior to this job, he worked for a wholesale grocery company for 5 years followed by a 2 year stint in the police force. So dealing with, and communicating with people is second nature to him. It is also very enjoyable and at times very rewarding.

Lesley, his wife, has also had great experience in front line public service having worked in a Post Office for 7 years. Prior to this she worked in Boots the Chemist for a number of years. Also she has had experience of catering having worked as a cook in a large college facility in Lancashire.

Louise now lives in Swindon with her partner Richard. Lesley and Roger also have 2 other children. Samantha who has 3 children, 2 of which are twins and reside in Paignton and Nick who is single and lives in Oxford.

So that is us, down to earth, friendly, warming and welcoming. You will leave the Rockview Guesthouse as our friends. Enjoy your stay here and please come and visit us again soon.
